Sara Crewe
Daughter of the very rich Captain Crewe, Sara is an example of every girl's dream. She moved with her father to London for her to study at Miss Minchin's Young Seminary For Girls. She felt nervous living alone without her father for the first time. But she found company when she bought "Emily", which turns out to be a doll little Sara wants to play with and "be friends" with while she's in school. Sara was different and unusual for a girl her age. She was 7 but she was covered in fancy goodies like her dresses which is made out of diff. kinds of clothing no ordinary girl can ever possess. Her father assures that her little princess is treated in the most luxurious way possible. Sara, on the other hand, was never selfish or rude despite of her different lifestyle, she was never spoiled or blinded by all the wonderful things she gets, she shares them with other people and she never let anyone ruin who she is and who she wants to be. In short, she is a girl with a strong spirit that just gets everybody going. Her optimistic thinking also affected some characters in the story.
