Summary
Leaving your roots has never been easy, well that is what our protagonist,Sara experienced growing up. Sara Crewe grew up in India but when she reached the age of 7 her father decided to take her to London ,for her to enhance her skills and knowledge her father took her at Miss Minchin’s Seminary for Girls, and this is where our story begins. Sara is no ordinary girl, she’s what we can describe as somewhat special and different. All her life, she was surrounded with fancy and elegant clothes that no ordinary girl can ever possess. But before going to Miss Minchin’s school, Sara bought “Emily” believing that dolls make the best friends. She was welcomed by the greedy Miss Minchin acting all fancy and cheerful about her new student/ new money. Sara didnt like the place that much especially the fact that she can't be with her father in the seminary. She was welcomed by some of the students but not all of them accepted her like Lavinia Herbert and her friends, they were jealous of Sara just because she was the show pupil and her fancy clothing were always the best. Ermengarde St. John is not the smartest girl in the class but she and Sara became the best of friends. More interesting twist of events happened in the story, so make you read it! :) :) :)
